London Wine Fair 2017

It wasn't our first exhibition, neither was it in any way different in terms of the usual industry representatives and participants..yet, we can truly say that the LWF 2017 has given us more than any other wine fair had ever done so far. A huge thank you to the organisers, London Wine Fair, Wines of Hungary miraculously tireless founder, Lilla O'Connor, without whom no way, no how we would have made it. Thanks to my colleagues, Evelyn Rose Thomas and Zsolt Szente for the constant laughter and incredibly hard work. KUDOS to world-famous MWs Caroline Gilby, Elizabeth Gabay and Peter McCombie for working tirelessly on making Hungarian wines more recognised. We are now making room for 2017's new arrivals and selling off the last remaining cases of 2016's stock at seriously discounted prices.   With sometimes up to 50% reduction on the last few bottles, it is now worth checking our new "BIN ENDS" collection regularly.  We update this section once a week.

#govolcanic explained

The #govolcanic project was launched on 1st July 2016 in London. This joint initiative between a UK wine merchant and Hungarian wine growers aims to promote, introduce, and ultimately: sell small production,  high quality wines that come from some of Hungary’s oldest, most extreme, volcanic appellations. The project primarily targets top hotels and restaurants, but - when stock levels allow - , selected wines are also released for online retail. The entire #govolcanic selection usually consists of about 30 different wines at any one time. The portfolio is uniquely and painstakingly assembled and regularly updated to cover the widest possible range of varietals, appellations, styles, single vineyards and vintages.
